STA bikes family cycling club has begun in the Autumn term

Dear everyone

I first started this introduction to Shacklewell Primary School with the words ‘Dear Parents and Community Members’. I suddenly realised that ‘Community Members’ might be interpreted to mean just people of the local community.

Nowadays we have to think GLOBALLY and I know already that our website has been visited by people all over the world, so welcome to all people of good will.

Children and parents at Shacklewell Primary come from just about every continent and from many different countries. We currently have 29 different language groups represented.

We are already rich in the things that really matter: our collective values, the things we contribute to and share with each other, our language and culture and our collective experiences of life. 

I can’t wait to learn more about these things from you and to work with you to build an exceptional learning community.
